Discover who you are before deciding what comes next.
Figuring out your future can feel overwhelming, especially when everyone seems to expect you to have a plan.
Maybe you’re unsure what you want to do after high school, questioning the path you’ve already started, or feeling pressured to make decisions before you really understand yourself.
You don’t need to have everything figured out right now.
Through Pathfinder Youth Mentorship, Shea helps young people explore their strengths, interests, values, and what matters to them, so they can develop greater self-understanding, confidence, and a clearer sense of direction.
Why Does Figuring Out Your Future Feel So Overwhelming?
You’re expected to make important decisions about your future, often before you’ve had much opportunity to discover who you are or what you actually want.
School, family, friends, and society can all influence what you think you should do. Meanwhile, you might be questioning your interests, comparing yourself to others, or wondering whether you’re choosing the right path.
It’s not necessarily that you lack ambition or motivation. You may simply need more time, understanding, and support to figure out what matters to you.
How can you confidently choose your direction when you’re still discovering who you are?
What Happens When You Choose a Direction Without Understanding Yourself?
When you feel pressured to make decisions before you’re ready, it’s easy to follow someone else’s expectations, choose what seems safest, or avoid making a decision altogether.
Over time, this can lead to frustration, self-doubt, wasted opportunities, or pursuing education and career paths that don’t feel right.
But you don’t have to figure everything out immediately.
Taking time to understand your strengths, interests, values, and what you want from life can help you make more informed decisions and move forward with greater confidence.
Discover Yourself. Find Your Way Forward.
Pathfinder Youth Mentorship provides a supportive space to explore who you are, what matters to you, and what may be influencing your decisions.
Through personalized coaching, self-reflection, and subconscious exploration when appropriate, Shea helps you develop greater self-awareness, recognize your strengths, explore your interests, and work through beliefs or patterns that may be holding you back.
The goal isn’t to tell you which career to pursue or what your future should look like.
It’s to help you understand yourself well enough to begin making those decisions with greater clarity, confidence, and independence.
